The Rules

  1. Team Selection - Using the most recent Statmando Official World Rankings, pick one player from each of the following categories:

    1. Ranked 1-10

    2. Ranked 11-20

    3. Ranked 21-35

    4. Ranked 36-50

    5. Ranked 51+

    6. Fill in tiebreaker items as mentioned below in section 4

  2. Total Score - Your players will earn you a total score as follows:

    1. Each of your players will finish a given with their final score. For instance +3 or -2.

    2. Those scores are then added together to create a total score.

      1. Ex: If you chose Gannon Buhr (1-10 Pick), Chris Dickerson (11-20 Pick), Corey Ellis (21-35), Mason Ford (36-50), and Evan Scott (51+), and their scores at the end of the tournament were (respectively) -5, -4, -3, +2, +1. Your total score would be (-9).

    3. Player scores will follow the official scoring from the PDGA

  3. Winner - The user with the lowest Total Score at the end of the event is the winner.

  4. Tiebreakers - if two teams have the same score, tiebreakers work as follows

    1. If the winners have the same score but different lineups, the person who has the pro player with the best finishing position at the event on their card will decide the winner. That process will be repeated through the card until there is a player with a higher-ranked card choice.

      1. Example 1: Player 1 and Player 2 are tied. Player 1 has Ricky Wysocki and Player 2 has Gannon Buhr for their 1-10 tier. Ricky Wysocki won the event and Gannon Buhr came in second. Player 1 wins.

      2. Example 2:Player 1 and Player 2 are tied. Player 1 and Player 2 have the same card choices for every tier except the 51+ tier. Player 1 has Chandler Kramer and Player 2 has Thomas Gilbert in that spot. Chandler Kramer finished higher ranked in the event so Player 1 wins.

      3. Example 3: Player 1 and Player 2 are tied. Player 1 chose James Proctor for their 11-20 pick and James Proctor won the event. Player 2 chose Chris Dickerson and Chris Dickerson came in 2nd. Player 1 wins.

    2. If winners have the same teams or different teams but none of the 5 positions result in a tiebreaker as mentioned in 4.a, we move on to the tiebreakers below.

      1. Tiebreaker 1 - prediction for the overall winning score for the event in total number of strokes

      2. Tiebreaker 2 - prediction for the best single-round shot over the tournament in total number of strokes.

      3. Tiebreaker 3 - In case of the unlikely event that, after these tiebreakers, there are still ties, the winner will be chosen on the show using the Wheel of Names

  5. Prize - The winner of the free game will receive that week’s featured prize.

  6. Eligibility - You must be 19+ years or older and not a resident of a state or country where fantasy sports are illegal or require a license.

  7. DNF Players - If a player on your card DNFs during the tournament, you will receive whatever score they last had before DNF’ing. Players will not be penalized the +4 strokes per hole unplayed as PDGA does.

  8. Dropped Players - If a player on your card drops out before the event, it is on you the player to make the switch. Email info@holdmybagdg.com to replace the player. If you do not replace your dropped player before the event starts, you will automatically receive the highest-ranked player available in that tier as your replacement.
